The Tall Wainscot Cap is a primed Finger-Joint Pine trim designed to fit onto a 3/8" upper rail in our Elite Wainscot Systems. It measures 8 ft long with a 2 1/2" by 1 3/8" profile and comes in a choice of back sets and dados to match your layout. Made from Pine, it delivers better impact resistance and water resistance than MDF where it counts most, along the exposed cap. The primed surface is ready to paint as soon as the cap is set. This version carries a 3/8" back set to seat over a 3/8" rail.
