The Tall Wainscot Cap is a primed Finger-Joint Pine trim made to fit onto a 1/2" upper rail in our Elite Wainscot Systems. It runs 8 ft long with a 2 1/2" by 1 3/8" profile and is available in several back sets and dados to suit different installations. Pine construction gives this cap better impact and water resistance than MDF, an advantage at the top edge where the wainscot takes the most contact. Because it ships primed, it is ready for your finish coat right out of the box. This version is configured with a 3/16" back set.
