Lower RC-RAIL, for Recessed Wall Paneled Wainscoting

Primed, MDF Wall Paneled Wainscoting Lower W-Rail 8 1/4" X 5/8", 8 ft long in Paint Grade MDF. Used as a lower rail then finished with our shoe trim. You may add another baseboard if you wish, though most prefer just the shoe trim.

This Lower W-Rail is a primed MDF horizontal rail for our Recessed Wall Paneled Wainscoting, measuring 8 1/4" tall by 5/8" thick in an 8 ft length. It installs as the bottom rail of the system and is then finished with our shoe trim for a clean transition to the floor. The generous 8 1/4" height gives the wainscot a substantial, traditional base that stands out in any room. You can add a separate baseboard in front of it if you prefer, though most installers find the shoe trim alone is enough. Made in paint grade MDF, it arrives primed and ready for your finish coat.
